Actor, writer, photographer, journalist, teacher, activist, and much more, Wendy Girard has lived an amazing life. She grew up in Latin America, studied mime and acrobatics in Paris, and became the youngest life member ever accepted into The Actors Studio where she worked under the tutelage of Lee Strasberg for 13 years. As a teenager, she produced the first Earth Day Street Fair in New York's Lower East Side. While still in her twenties she directed, shot and edited her first documentary, and has since worked on numerous documentaries, primarily focusing on the environment. She is a certified Sivananda Yoga and Da Dao Qi Gong instructor, and was ordained to teach Zen meditation. She coaches and teaches film acting, method acting, and improvisation privately, at performing arts academies, and abroad.
